A pharmacist and his boss are warning consumers not to buy their first-time Viagra tablets because they are "failing to warn" of the risks and potentially harmful effects.
The makers of Viagra (sildenafil) warned consumers not to buy the tablets and that they were not intended to be used by people with heart disease.
The warning came in a television advertisement that appeared on social media.
The advertisement said that men who take the drug are "failing to warn" that the medicine can "increase or decrease the risk of heart attack, stroke, heart attack and blood clots".
It added that men should stop taking the drug and call their doctor or get advice about their risk.
The warning, made by the drug company, said men are not advised of the increased risk of heart problems and should seek advice from a doctor.
The medicine works by inhibiting a natural enzyme called phosphodiesterase-5, or PDE5. It also increases the blood flow to the penis, causing it to enlarge and stiffen.
The drug's manufacturer said that men should not take the drug for longer than four hours while also discussing their risk with a doctor.
In a statement, Pfizer said that the warning was based on the results of a study on more than 1,200 men.
"The study found that taking the drug for more than four hours prior to a sexual encounter can increase the risk of developing a blood clot in the lungs, heart or abdomen," the company said.
The drug has been linked to heart attacks, strokes and other heart conditions. More than 400,000 people have been diagnosed with the condition.
The company said that in some cases, men may have taken the drug for longer than four hours and had higher blood pressure.
The companies said the warning was based on the results of a study on more than 1,500 men.
A spokesman for Pfizer said that the company was working on an advertising campaign that would be aimed at the public and would "educate the public".
"This is a good advertising campaign. We are working on an advertising campaign that is aimed at the public," he said.
The company said it was aware of the study but that it was not able to identify any men who had taken the drug.
The pharmaceutical company is also conducting an investigation into the effect of the drug on an unborn baby.
The drug company said that it would "review and address all cases of blood clots" and that it was looking into men who have been diagnosed with the condition.
The makers of Viagra say that they have not seen any reports of people taking the drug.

A new study suggests that men with erectile dysfunction, who had erectile dysfunction were less likely to take the drug.
Men with erectile dysfunction are less likely to take Viagra.
However, the study suggests that some men with erectile dysfunction may have erectile problems.
The researchers analysed data from 2,200 men with ED who were either age 60 or older.
They found that men taking Viagra had a significantly lower risk of having erectile dysfunction.
This compared to men who did not take Viagra.
They said men with ED who had erectile dysfunction had a 50% lower risk of erectile problems, including impotence.
“These results are robust and confirm the need for caution and increased awareness of sexual health conditions in the general population,” said the researchers.
Researchers are also continuing their study to examine the impact of Viagra use on the risk of erectile problems.
The study was funded by Pfizer Inc., a pharmaceutical company with sales of $1.6 billion a year. Viagra was sold in 1998 and is now the most-prescribed drug in the United States.
The company previously launched the popular erectile dysfunction drug Cialis in 2003.
